Victorious Nursery and Primary School in Kyabakuza, Masaka, Uganda, welcomed representatives of Classrooms for Africa to the official opening of their new Early Childhood Classrooms in March.
There was much excitement on the campus as the students sang and danced for the visitors who presented them with a plaque to commemorate the building and acknowledge the Canadians whose donations had made the building possible.
The visitors also toured the facility and saw the students working hard at their lessons.
Thanks to our donors who made the dream of replacing the temporary wooden building with permanent weather-proof classrooms a reality. The administrator of the school pointed out that the old building has been moved to another location on the property to ensure that the students would not forget the blessing of their new classrooms!
