The Kanyanga Story

In the thick bush of northern Zimbabwe a school is taking shape – a pre-school currently held under a makeshift grass roof will be replaced by permanent classrooms thanks to the donations of ACSI Western Canada teachers and school communities.

The local Kanyanga community, impoverished and isolated, is 100% behind this new window of hope for their children and are building bricks, clearing bush, leveling ground and building the facility amid celebrations of joy – all as volunteers! The young students will be housed by the 2013 school year!
