Background:

Kinyaminagha Junior School started in 2010 on one acre of land in Kinyaminagha village. It was started by the Kinyaminagha Catholic Church in the Diocese of Kasese as one of the activities in the lower foothills of Mt. Rwenzori. 

The school was established with an aim of imparting Christian values to learners through quality education.

The school is licensed by the ministry of education and sports, the school plans on offering Kindergarten through Grade Seven. Currently, there are 232 pupils from Kindergarten to Grade Four. Students are currently learning in stick and mud temporary buildings as a Three Classroom Block is incomplete and waiting for funds to complete.

The school also lacks furniture and an administration office, a classroom is currently being used as an office and storage area.
