Tshwane Christian School
Tshwane, South Africa

project awaiting funds

A grant of $25,000 towards the construction of two permanent classrooms with the balance needed to be provided in cash and labour by the school.

Tshwane Christian School was established in 1992 to provide "Christ-centered education, training programs and all-inclusive care for destitute children."

The school is situated to the north of the city of Tshwane (previously Pretoria) close to a very large township and informal area. The area has high unemployment, much crime and poverty. It is from this area that the school draws its students. As mentioned in the their statement of purpose the focus is on preparing and training young people to lead meaningful and productive lives.

ACSI South Africa supports the work of this school and will monitor progress and the distrubution of funds.
