In 2006 a church plant was started in the small village of Kamuli, in a remote part of south eastern Rakai District of Uganda, close to the border of Tanzania. The Good Samaritan Community Primary and Nursery School is an outgrowth of the church.
In January 2010, the Good Samaritan Community Nursery and Primary School opened with nearly 200 students in nursery through grade 4.
The school is registered with the Ugandan authorities and is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International. Many of the students who attend the school are unable to pay fees and are sponsored through Child Care International (Canada).
Good Samaritan Community School has grown to an enrolment of 636 students in 2018, offering 10 grade levels (N1 - N3 and P1 - P7). Being in a very rural area, the school is in need of accommodation to house qualified teachers who have to move from other areas because the local community does not have many trained teachers.
